Bringing the Film to an Audience
Event Production · Creative Direction · Communications · Partnerships · Audience Experience • Community Activations
The release of Make Me A Leader extended beyond the documentary itself into a series of live experiences designed to bring its ideas to audiences, partners and the wider community. I led the planning and production of two key events: a trailer launch co-produced with Cochlear Australia and a public cinema screening at Chauvel Cinema in Sydney.
Trailer Launch 2017 • 150+ guests
The Make Me A Leader film trailer was launched in partnership with Cochlear Australia, bringing together a corporate and public sector audience of 150 guests to explore the documentary’s themes of leadership, neuroscience and human performance.
The event was developed and delivered in collaboration with our corporate partner and film production team, encompassing programming, screening production, communications and audience experience. The program featured Professor Dr Harald Harung from Norway's Oslo University as an in-person speaker, alongside a live-streamed interview with Professor Dr Fred Travis of Maharishi University Iowa in the USA, bringing international perspectives on neuroscience and leadership directly to the audience.
Cinema Screening 2018 • 300+ guests
A public screening of Make Me A Leader Documentary was produced at Chauvel Cinema in Sydney, bringing together more than 300 guests for an evening of celebration and awareness.
The event was managed from planning and approvals through to production and on-site delivery, coordinating with Chauvel Cinema, the City of Sydney, sponsors and project partners. The event also engaged Kim Ellis, then CEO of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust, as featured patron. Delivery encompassed event applications and approvals, sponsorship, stakeholder communications, music performers, screening production and the overall guest experience.
