Engage Me Book
Book Design · Photography · Art Direction
Engage Me explores workplace engagement through neuroscience and the experiences of 25 people, examining what motivates individuals at work and how leaders can create more engaging environments. Designed as a practical and accessible resource, the book combines personal stories, photography, illustration and leadership insights to bring the subject to life.
I worked as the photographer and designer, creating the visual identity, portrait photography, cover artwork and overall book design. I collaborated with illustrator Beni McDonald, integrating his illustrations with the photography and editorial content to create a cohesive visual narrative throughout the publication.
Following its release, Optus Australia purchased 5,000 copies of the book for distribution across the organisation, accompanied by a series of engagement workshops that used the book as a resource for conversations around workplace engagement.
AITD Award Finalist
In 2010, Engage Me: Inspirational Insights for Leaders Who Want to Engage was recognised as a finalist in Operational Effectiveness by the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD), recognising the book and its role as a practical resource for leadership and workplace engagement.
