About the Project
As Project Manager and Creative Director, I led the 2011 and 2012 Brain Art Project Awards & Exhibition, held at Global Gallery and Verge Gallery at the University of Sydney.
Conceived as an international initiative exploring the intersection of neuroscience, creativity and human expression, the project attracted more than 1,000 artists, scientists, designers, health practitioners and business leaders from around the world. Through art, design and creative writing, participants shared diverse perspectives on the brain, mental health, wellbeing and the role of creativity in shaping the human experience.
The project became an important milestone in the About my Brain Institute’s evolution, reinforcing the value of combining science, design and the arts to make complex ideas more accessible, engaging and relevant to everyday life. It helped shape many of the interdisciplinary principles that continue to underpin our approach to leadership development, education and innovation.
